Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data BossMode collects, why, and how it is stored. We keep this short on purpose. If anything is unclear, email hello@swainuk.com.
1. Who we are
BossMode is operated by SWAINUK LIMITED, a company registered in England & Wales. Contact: hello@swainuk.com.
2. What we collect
- Account data: email address (and display name if you sign in with Google/Apple).
- App data you create: tasks, daily logs, health entries, money entries, AI chat messages.
- Usage data: minimal diagnostic logs (errors, request counts) to keep the app working.
We do not collect contacts, photos, location, advertising IDs, or sell any data to third parties.
3. Where it is stored
Data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore + Authentication) in the europe (eur3) multi-region. AI chat requests are processed by Anthropic (Claude) under a no-training, zero-retention API agreement. Subscription state is processed by Apple App Store and (for web) Stripe.
4. Why we process it
To run the app, sync your data across devices, generate AI responses you request, and process subscription payments. That's the entire purpose.
5. Your rights (UK GDPR)
You can:
- Export your data from inside the app (Settings → Export).
- Delete your account and all associated data from inside the app (Settings → Delete account). This is irreversible.
- Email hello@swainuk.com to request access, correction, restriction, or to lodge a complaint with the ICO.
6. Retention
Account + app data is kept while your account exists. On account deletion, all Firestore documents and Auth records tied to your UID are removed within 30 days. Backups are pruned on the same cycle.
7. Children
BossMode is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
8. Changes
If we change this policy materially, we will notify you in-app before the change takes effect.
